Andy Sealy

Director of Bands Hebron High School, Carrollton, TX

Andy Sealy is in his twentieth year as Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. Andy is a graduate of Texas Tech University. He is a frequent concert band and marching band adjudicator and clinician.


Prior to his appointment in Lewisville ISD, Andy was the Director of Bands at Randall High School in Amarillo and Monterey High School in Lubbock. He began his teaching career in west Texas in Iraan ISD and Monahans ISD. He maintains professional affiliations with the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, American Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity, Texas Music Adjudicators Association, Ph Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and the International Clarinet Association.
 

Andy served on the Executive Board of the Texas Music Educators Association from 2015 to 2019 including terms as TMEA President and Band Division Chair (TMEA Vice-President). Andy was recognized as the Lewisville Independent School District Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2021-2022 and was awarded the University Scholastic League Sponsor of Excellence Award in 2016.

Andy currently serves as Chair of the Fine Arts Department at Hebron High School. In addition, he serves with the Music For All Bands of America Marching Band Advisory Group and on the Buffet Crampon North America Advisory Board. Andy is happily married to Karen Sealy for twenty-seven years. Karen is the Secondary Curriculum and Programs Director for the Lewisville Independent School District. Karen and Andy reside in Frisco, Texas.
