Welcome! The Marching Arts Experience is a unique, completely free, one-of-a-kind, day-long opportunity to learn from some of the biggest names in the marching arts community and music.

 

   …to be inspired…to be motivated…to learn a new skill…to network with others in a community emphasizing growth, achievement, and education.

This event is open to all: individuals, small groups, sections, or entire bands... at no cost to participants!

The Marching Arts Experience is celebrating its sixth year offering relevant and inspiring educational classes and clinics. No need to sign up, just show up for the daytime sessions. 

For ensembles who desire to also attend the On-Field Clinics, and / or Preview of Champions Evaluation Show, see below to register (again, totally free!)  We cannot wait to see you at this incredible event on Saturday, September 30th, and get ready for an exciting 2023 season!

Returning Directors

While we welcome any and all to attend our master classes for free and without registration, if you are interested in attending one of our on-field clinics or the Preview of Champions Evaluation Show in the evening, we request registration as time slots are limited.

All ensemble entries are done through a third party website called Competition Suite. If your ensemble has previously performed at a CSBC event, you should be able to log in to your Competition Suite account and register. If you are a new administrator (Director) for the ensemble, you will need to e-mail info@calstatebandchamps.org to have your account assigned to the ensemble.

New to CSBC?

If this is your ensemble's first time performing at a CBSC event, the ensemble will need to be set up in Competition Suite. Please follow these steps:
 

  1. Send an email to info@calstatebandchamps.org with the following information:

    1. Name of ensemble

    2. City ensemble is located in

    3. Your name

    4. Your title

    5. Your preferred e-mail address for access to Competition Suite

    6. Your best guess at what division your ensemble should be in

  2. Once you have e-mailed us, go to the Competition Suite and register for a user account.

  3. Once registered and your ensemble has been added, you should be able to register the ensemble for events including MAX!
